26" LCD recommendations?

Looking for a 26" LCD tv and want to know which to buy in the $300-400 range. I am hoping to get 1080P but will settle with 720P if needed. I tried looking at Bestbuy and their selection was limited to a few brands I've never heard of so I wanted to steer away from that. The only noticeable brands were Sony Bravia ($$$) and the 32"+ Samsungs (too big).
