According to the review guys at AT, the 12ms/16ms LCDs do not have the same color reproduction as the 25ms screens; they sacrifice color quality for response time. According to them, the lack of decent color outweighs the better response time, and they reccomend going with a 25ms screen.
My LCD is 25ms, and I don't notice much ghosting in games, if any.

My LCD is 16ms, and it seems to reproduce colors pretty darn well . . . definitely the best picture of any monitor I've ever used.

Have a 16ms Hitachi 17". Best move I ever made was go LCD. No more headaches, nice clarity. Colors are very good, but the blacks could be darker. Thats about my only complaint.
In contrast to an older 40ms NEC 15" LCD I also have, there is no noticable ghosting and works great for DVDs.

Funny you say blacks could be darker.
I have the exact opposite problem (if you wanna call it one).
Mine has a quick mode switch button to change brightness/contrasts etc.
Normally, i leave mine set as "Vivid" (gorgeous vibrant color), but when i am watching a movie or anything that has shadows or darker stuff, i switch to "Standard" (brings out the darker colors better).
