they've had x800 pros at $260 for a time, and $330 for a while, just a matter of whether or not you can get a hold of one cuz outpost is always out of stock on everything.

Most likley, I'd guess, but why don't you just call them and find out? I don't know that anyone here has access to their inventory system to be able to help you.

This price has actually been in effect for some time now, I'm personally still waiting for price to come down below $300 (which it did for a SHORT period from Outpost when they were dumping inventory of their Xtasy X800s for $259.99. I jumped on the deal, but unfortunately to late, my order was cancelled due to them running out of stock).

Do you guys know how good Outpost is with getting new inventory? I ordered the X800 Pro off outpost about a week ago and it's been on backorder ever since. I'm hoping that the card will be shipped ASAP, by Christmas at the very latest.

Also, this card is the non-VIVO model correct? Would there be any chance of VIVOs getting shipped out? I've been reading the posts about people softmodding their X800 Pro VIVOs, turning them into X800 XT PEs, and I've been getting a bit antsy. I know it's a longshot, but an X800 Pro VIVO with the correct RAM and core would be perfect.

This model has shown to be out of stock for ages now. For what it's worth if you look on ATI's site...none of the X800's are in stock either which leads me to believe that there's definitelya supply problem :(.

If you REALLY are looking for an ATI built VIVO pro model to softmod into a XTPE then I suggest looking around at your local Bestbuy, Circuit City, and CompUSA shops. Check the seriall number label at the top. Anything between the range of 60420 and 60433 has a pretty good chance of being softmoddable. You can also check by looking at the ram. If it has the marking GC16 then it is 1.6ns memory and overclockable by alot. If it's GC20 then it is the 2.0ns memory and doesn't overclock and chance are the card can't be modded either. Another indicator is looking at the far right side of the PCB for a yellow connector next to the purple power connector. If there is a yellow connector then it has a rage theatre chip and can be softmodded.

Right now I think my Circuit City had ONE left.. been there for 3 months, with the proper serial number. The earlier the serial number the better the card and overclock generally. I got mine running stable at 570/570 right now and have been for a few months with stock cooling. Also, circuit city has these for $400 with a $75 MIR last time I check last week.

I think 329.99 is a great price. I got mine a few months back from Dell for 333.00 and it ended up be a X800Pro with VIVO and 1.2ram(Easily flashed to a XT-PE). It's a a matter on timing on geting the softmod ones.

At least they have it for MSRP and aren't price gouging like other e-tailers.
