256MB Smartmedia ever come out?

Getting an older digital cam that takes smartmedia so I am looking.

I see them announced, but all I can find are 128mb cards.

I didn't think they could be made larger than 128MB because of the way the interface with the camera was orginally designed back in the early years of digital photography when 128MB was still considered a lot of memory to have on one card.
