256mb showing as 128mb

specs.. well basic

mobo is AK31 ver3.1
1.33ghz AMD

crucial 256mb.. it had problems from the beginign... bad

well it started working.. but now it's showing as 128mb in BIOS as well as in winxp ..

tried every slots... is the ram gone??

Try it in another PC if possible before you RMA it.

Chances are it's STILL defective -- I'd send it back..
