SanDisk 256MB SD card is $89.94 less $15 IR less $15 MIR = $59.94 in 12/7 ad. There's a $15 off $75 printable which makes it $44.94 (plus something to get over $75 if they insist). There's also a 12% customer appreciation coupon if you can get them to apply that also. I wasn't successful in that. The $15 off coupon I found had to be used in-store.

You can't blame the guy for posting the deal. I don't think everyone is going to do a thorough research on the product before they post. Besides...I'd hardly call Amazon reviews a reputable review source. I've seen customers give 0 stars for products when they (most likely in their own stupidity) could not get something to work properly. Tread lightly on those reviews but follow them up on a sight such as epinions.com or neoseeker.com.

I believe the OP is a girl 🙂

And I'm not bashing on the deal or anything. I'm just asking her if she was concerned about the durability of the product since she obviously purchased one.

i believe guy is a generic term referring to members of the human race? =P

You're not concerned about these reviews?

Actually, no. I was aware of them, but the card is for my son, who has told me several times that any brand is fine with him (and he has read the reviews, too.) So, if it doesn't work well, he will have to deal with exchanges/returns or whatever on his own.

From first-hand experience, this did have problems with my PDA but since getting an RMA from them, no problems yet. Their customer service is not too bad. Seems they are well-aware of the problem and will be more sympathetic to your plight when your unit fails. Free shipping to/from RMA center, too.
