256MB Sandisk Thumbdrive, no longer recognized.

I have a sandisk thumbdrive, Windows XP pro will no longer recognize it. When I plug it in, the light on the drive flashes once, then no more, XP notices it was plugged in, but then goes to USB Device not recognized.

I have ran the registry fix provided by Sandisk, but that didnt do it either. I have tried it on several computers.

 
Probably dead. I've had a usb drive do that to me at work. I couldn't get it to recognize on ANY computer. Light would come on, etc, but nothing else.
