It's hot if u get the samsung chips. I helped my coz get pny ram from BB for $45 AR, just 2 weeks ago, and it was samsung tcb0 229. OMG, they overclock like a dream! I was able to get ddr355 (cas 2, 2,2,2, 5, 1T) @ default voltage!!! It could have gone higher on her kt333mobo, but i think the cpu was the limit.
 
You guys should check out the $44 256 MB PC2100 DDR RAM at Fry's. I got it last night in a Bay area Fry's after hearing about it on "big-boned wallet." It's generic ram and I didn't bother looking at the chips to figure out the actual manufacturer, but so far it's working really well. You also don't have to deal with any stupid rebates.
