256mb 6600 card?

Ok totally confused...at eVGA's site these are the specs:

That's really slow memory for a modern video card (4ns = 250Mhz cycle time = 500Mhz effective). This card is not going to be a very good performer, especially with AA/AF, since its bandwidth will be so limited. It has a quarter the bandwidth of a 6800GT, and less than half the bandwidth of a 6800NU.

 
256MB is still mostly worthless on a card as slow as the 6600, and probably not really worth it on the 6600GT.
