256k or 512k Cache on PIII....Dual CPU or Single CPU

I have a server in my basement and need to upgrade the CPU in it. I am only running a single PIII 733mhz in it right now. Going dual can be an option, but I need to do this cheap. I was just going to sell the current CPU and purchase a new 1.13ghz PIII, but then comes the question. Should I get it with 256k cache or 512k cache. Am I going to see a performance difference with more cache? Or should I get a dual processor motherboard and get another 733mhz and make it a dual system?
