I am putting a new computer together and I need a boot or OS drive. I have budgeted around $150 and want to put in an SSD that is around 256GB. I have not kept up with SSD's and need some advice picking out a good one. My time line is a little bit flexible, and I want the best deal I can find. I know that Samsung makes great drives, but right now they are also $50 more. Here are the 3 that I have found:

$150 - Corsair Force Series 3 CSSD-F240GB3A-BK (NewEgg)
$155 - Transcend TS256GSSD320 (NewEgg)
$155 - Sandisk Extreme SSD 240GB (SDSSDX-240G-G25) Amazon

Which would you recommend or would you suggest something else?

Thanks!

OP, those are 240gb SSD's. I would lean towards the Sandisk. They are all similar.

Thanks. I always try to update the firmware on new devices, but sometimes I forget on hard drives. I will not be forgetting with SSD's now that I have had some minor issues with an OCZ Agility Series OCZSSD2-1AGT60G.

IIRC the SanDisk uses higher end Toggle NAND. The Corsair Force Series 3 does not (but Corsair Force GT does). IDK about the Transcend.
