Yeah, I've been seeing them on Newegg for $39.99 myself. I suspected that they were MLC. Should be plenty fast. Probably worth picking a few up, if you are a fan of MLC. Too bad they're not bigger.

Might be a good choice for a StoreMI cachefast drive.
