256GB iPad or iPhone

September 2016. Provided the IPP released with the ipads at that time next year. Figure they'll make it an option for the IPP at least if not the other models.
 
IMHO, I'd say at least not before 2018/19 on a 256GB iPhone; prob iPad as well.

They want you to buy iCloud space instead.
 
They didn't introduce 128GB in the iPad (4th gen) until January 2013 and 128GB in the 6/6+ in September 2014. I would say it's at least 2017/2018 until we get 256GB in iOS devices.
