I just connected my new 7770 to my U2711 and the resolution is awesome! The text is small but I think I like more real estate and live with it without increasing the text size.

I sit pretty close to mine, and leave the windows scaling at 100%, I find myself zooming in on most web pages though.

I'm using a 1440p display at 32", instead of the standard 27" (the monitor is benq bl3200pt). HP also makes a 32" 1440p monitor, but it has speakers on the side so not ideal for my multi-monitor setup.

Anyway, the really cool thing about increasing the 2560x1440 resolution to 32" is that the text size and pixel density (ppi) is just about identical to that of a 24" 1920x1200 display. So everything is natively very comfortable on the eyes (not tiny), and window/text size is the same as you move windows/text from one monitor to the next, even though thought it's a 24" and 32" right next to each other.

But I'm sure as time passes, the text size issue will go away as scaling is improved. I just wanted to mention though, that when you use 1440p at 32" it's a welcomed size increase, unlike the opposite situation of where you'd, say, take a 1080p display and blow it up to 27" where the pixels are perhaps too big.

No scaling or zooming. I just have the display quite close to me but then again I do that with all computer monitors. If this is your first 1440p display then it might take a bit to get used to the smaller text.

100% here 27" 1440p
Most websites I visit are fine, but some with very low contrast I zoom.

The biggest peeve I currently have is with Steam, actually. Ever since they changed their main page from almost-too-low-contrast-grey to definitely-too-low-contrast-blue together with loading it with lots of junk segments I stopped using it...

KingFatty I also just purchased a BenQ BL3200PT. Previously I had an Achiva Shimian Lite 27" 2560 X 1440. The difference in text size is quite noticeable. I use the Achieva on another rig and have increased the text size.

I can concur on this.. Had Eyefinity 27in 1440 and switched to 32in Qnix 320QHD and they are pretty good:

Just looking at the keyboard is enough to compare :D
