Micro Center finally had this monitor back in stock and I grabbed one right away and love it,- AURIA EQ276W 27" LED Monitor: http://www.microcenter.com/product/384780/EQ276W_27_IPS_LED_Monitor
With a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 is there a better resolution of movie to download?
720 or 1080? I'm thinking 1080 still.
TIA

Nope. You are limited to 1080p...:(

If you have a capable GPU in your system to handle up scaling, I don't think you would notice any significant quality difference...

Oh, and welcome to the 1440p owners club...;)

Thanks, I thought so. My 7970 can handle everything I toss at it so far, a little extra scaling would make it only yawn;)

Timescapes can be found at 1440p

Thanks for the post. I watched the trailer for it and was hooked. Downloading it now :)

Trailers:

I will say their severs are S L O W. Took me almost 2 hours to DL the 1440P version.

That was amazing! Stunning at 1440P on my catleap, 1080P on my 120" PJ screen, 720P on my laptop. The only thing I havent tried it on yet is my tablet.

+1 for Timescapes. There are 4K clips from it available to watch on Youtube, if you're Broadband is fast enough to stream them.
