256 GB SSDs for $250 anytime soon?

I almost regret getting my Samsung 830 256GB for 180€ a few weeks ago...


It hurts ,,, I feel you but thats how it is.. go with the flo , thank goodness you have a solid SSD, dont worry about a 100 dollar cheaper even.. its all meant to be,, if your going to get a deal or pay a high price....

Agreed don't worry about it. You have gotten to use the SSD for that time. I justed picked up a Samsung 830 256GB for $199. I'm happy whether the prices drops further or not. I'm just glad I don't have to watch for deals anymore, my time is worth it and I get to USE the SSD while others wait for the prices to drop further.
 
after xmas i built a new game rig. put in a 120g Intel SSD as win7 drive and a 1T Seagate spinner.
A month ago i realized that at most i would only be using 10 - 20% of the spinner at one time so i went ahead and got a new 240g SSD and pulled the Seagate.
Amazing. recently got back into WOW and everything loads in seconds. Takes about a minute to go from desktop > log in> and ready to play.

(ps - 120g is Intel 320 and 240g is OCZ Vertex 3)
