256 color icon?! Grahhh

Why is my Outlook Express icon "pinned" onto my Windows XP start menu only being shown in 256 colors?! It looks ugly and I can't change it!

Any ideas? The Outlook Express icon everywhere else on my compuer has stayed the same.

I've been doing lots of cleaning up lately on my computer, defragging, scan disk, etc., so I dunno what went wrong.. I did a system restore to see if that would help and it didn't.
