2500MAh batteries die fast in talkabouts?

I had 12 2500MAh rechargable batteries charged up for my talk abouts. Put a set in, and it immeadiatly said 2/3 of the battery was left. And after about 30-45 minutes of use the batteries didn't have enough power to let me talk. Thinking that set may not have gotten a full charge put a new set in, same thing. I then put them in my digital camera and it said they are fine, what's up with that? The walky with regular batteries in it was still going strong the entire night. Any ideas?

Sounds like it needs the full 1.5V of alkalines.

:thumbsup: MAh are one thing, voltage is another. Thats why sometimes electronic devices will tell you not to use rechargeables.
