2500K only support up to 1333MHz RAM? on the intel website it says 2500K supports only up to 1333MHz of RAM but I know there are people that have 1600 or more with their 2500K. If I overclock can I get more then 1333MHz? Sorry if this already asked before I could not find a thread pertaining to this issue, thanks guys.

That just mean any faster RAM is not official supported, but they will run fine...it's just Intel's way of saying "We don't offcial support overclocking"

Officially up to 1333MHz is supported, but you shouldn't have any problem running 1600 or possibly even higher speed memory with it assuming your motherboard supports these higher memory settings. With the latest AMD chips I think 1600MHz is the "sweet spot" with higher speed memory seeing diminishing returns and not gaining you much more performance, not sure if that's the case with SB, though.

Just be mindful of RAM voltage when shopping, I think Intel recommends a max of 1.6V memory voltage with their Sandy Bridge chips, and some higher speed DDR3 kits are rated for 1.65V. Probably wouldn't hurt to run 1.65V DDR3 with SB, but since there is plenty of 1.5-1.6V memory out there might as well just get one of those sets IMO to stay on the safe side.

1.5v actually.

My bad, looks like Intel does only rate it for 1.5V +/- 5%. That must be where the ~1.6V I've read elsewhere comes from (near the max of Intel's tolerance for RAM voltage).

I have 16gb DDR3 2133 CL9, so ima say that if you run 1333 you have a little bit of headroom :p
