It worked fine before then i decided to try reinstalling windows using the new EFI boot (so it uses the newer 2.2TB+ GUID partition table instead of the old master boot record method) and it went well but it will now bluescreen when i attempt to install HD graphics drivers from windows update or the intel website. In fact the last attempts with the latest drivers the screen just went blank and restarted itself, i didn't even see a bluescreen.

Any ideas why HD graphics and GPT wont play nice?

EDIT: Looks like getting to SP1 then installing the driver might be my best bet:

When I did mine I hunted down the official Microsoft Ultimate SP1 ISO. Did the make it universal install trick then loaded the version my code was for. Took my ATI drivers no problem. I think it saves you some space also as nothing to cleanup.

I have no issues from efi install so far. Been a couple months already.

Yup works with SP1, no bluescreen. Dont know if this issue is isolated to asrock boards but ive only seen others with the issue posting and they all had asrock boards.
