2500+ stepping AQXEA0331TPAW good OCer?

I have an AQXEA0334SPMW and i was just wondering how this compared.

Yes, it is unlocked - if you look at the date code on it (0331) and yours (0334) - they are both prior to week 39 of 2003, which is when they started locking the Bartons.

Yeah i know they are both unlocked. Just wondering if there would be any difference in overclocking capabilities between that one and mine.

Check against the CPU database. However, as a warning you won't be able to get the extreme OC's without proper cooling and other components (RAM, Video Card) that can take the increased FSB. The database does give you a good idea of what your CPU can do though.

i think the stuff in my sig can handle it along with the watercooling i have waiting. The CPU i have now has was 10x238 stable. so i guess they can handle a little FSB increase
