if you get a 1700+ for $60@svc along with a sk7/fan, yes it will come out to the same. but the difference is you can psuh that to 2.2-2.3Ghz as where you would still need to speed another $30 if you want to OC the barton.

won't i need to goto some place like excaliberpc.com to get the 1700 to guarentee getting 2.2-2.3 ghz performance? (nm, i just saw the SVC stuff-me likey the prices) also, i really would like to use default voltage--how far can i get with that?
