I'm planning on upgrading, but I have todo it in steps. The biggest thing I'd see right now is a new processor. My question is if I baught a 2500+ barton, will it work on my 7KJD MB from chaintech?? It would be under clocked though right? The MB fsb in bois goes to 165mhz, but I don't think the pci slots will take it. If I can get it, this should be my most noticable difference. Right now I'm using a 1600+
 
it should work
pretty much all socket A chipsets can be made to work with all the latest athlons
you might not be able to get the fsb it is supposed to run at but you could always up the clock mult
