2500 barton with 333fsb capable of 460fsb?

getting an nf7-s rev 2.0, and ordered some nice cooling for the NB so im wondering with my corsair xms 3500 ram my 480 wat PSU with tight rails, my slk-900u and 92mm tornado, 6 case fans and a decent stepping u guys seeing me able to hit 230 fsb with 10 or better multiplier im not worried about how many volts i need to run to it because itll be replaced within a year anyways

I doubt it. Maybe 415-430 holding steady. And it takes a lot of cooling to hold it steady at 430 let alone 460.

i just ask cause i havent seen anyone with the barton who sacrificing some clock speed for some fsb, everyone is running like 11-12 with a fsb of 200

Try it! You can only hope it does 230fsb. You may only be able to get about 215-220 out of it.

I dont doubt it ther eis no reason why he cannot run at that speed, ram not being the issue and on a NF2 mobo so any PCI problems are avoided. besides just as an example
itll take the same cooling to get a CPU to go 2x500 @ 2.0v (1000mhz) as it would a CPU 10x100 @ 2.0v the new NF2 chipsets that are 400mhz out the box are hitting pretty high with nothing moe than stock cooling....or swapping the stock grease out for AS3 hell you could WC it or figure out a munt setup and use an old school SK-6 and youll never have a problem
