Maybe I just got lucky but I got the $59 Fry's combo deal with the ECS Nforce Board and 2500+ BArton, I also got this 1gb of KBYTE DDR PC3200 they had on special for $160 after rebate.

I am running this thing at 2315ghz with Memory at 210mhz at 8-4-4-2.5 , Prime 05 13 hours blend test, no errors!

Woot... Is everyone able to do this iwth this chip?

This board also has no voltage adjustments so I am doing all of teh above at stock Vdimm and Vcore.

Sweetness.:)

And no, thats a VERY good chip. Most 2500's can't even make 2.2 reliably.

What I am surprised most is this KBYTE memory. I mean 210mhz at cas 2.5 is good right?

So I'm curious, when did things change. I mean when the Barton first came out, 2500+ chips were pretty much guaranteed to hit 2.2, and I have one, and know three others personally who bought around the same time (throughout the later half of last year). We were all sucessful at 2.2.

Now 2500+ chips often won't make 2.2. Did this happen since the mobiles became popular? All the good AXPs got funneled into mobiles?
