Just got mine. Retail box with cables, drivers, and 2-year warranty.

It seems lately that a number of video cards are being sold as "OEM", yet are actually retail cards.

I wonder if what's going on is that the video card manufacturers are trying to clear out inventory, and they don't want to undercut their retailers. So they give a major retailer a "deal" on video cards that are "officially" sold as OEM, but are actually retail cards.

The TD price is great, but I suspect that the "R" at the end of the TD item # (C261-3028 R) indicates this is a refurb. Several of those receiving X850GT PE's from TD (also with an "R" item #) said the card wasn't new (a condition not described in the TD listing).

The Monarch card I received was clearly brand new.
