prepare for the atot body-building brigade to rip you for being the fattest man alive.

I realized the hard way that you can't just hop back into sports after gaining a bunch of weight. Stopping on a dime + cleats + grass = entire body rolling over my knee.

mosh: first time injury... suprisingly, i've never injured myself in soccer before. i guess that just meant i wasnt playing hard enough, haha.

Of course, it all depends upon where the dime is placed. Put it 20 yards away and I'm sure you could get your 250# frame to stop right on that dime without any problems.

i got you beat. my first game of my senior season, i just got into the game and after about 5 minutes a guy slid into me from behind and broke my right leg. i was done for the rest of the season which sucked, because i was at my peak as far as skills go and felt that i could have had a pretty good season.

I used to be a big trail runner, but I hyperextended my knee, then ripped something in it. Then my right thigh. Now I walk with a semi-noticeable limp in my right, and on bad days I can't move my left knee...I feel your pain, OP...We used to screw around when we played hockey in HS all the time. Did you slide tackle someone on the way out at least? That's all we did. Body checks and slide tackles...At least your not like me: 150 lbs does not withstand too many beatings...

Aleve and ice that sucker...

you guys make it seem like at 250 you are obese. i weigh 260 but am not that fat and played soccer all through highschool at around 240.. i am definitely not in shape, but i am not huge by any means.. i have a larger frame and big bones and i am pretty strong. my legs are like tree trunks as my brother always told me.
