$250 giveaway for seniors...Obama has jumped the shark

In order to make up for not getting an undeserved increase in SS payments, Obama is proposing to hand seniors 250 bucks. No means test, just a handout. So the richest segment of society, the one with socialized health care, gets an extra $250 in pocket money while working Americans don't even get a public option. I wish the Dems would stop acting like Dems and start acting like liberals.

What are you talking about . Thats money I paid in to for 35 years fool. Its not taxes ass wipe. The raise I could care less about . because i don't need it . But many other seniors need it badly asshole. Do you know how much they take yearly from us if ya make 75 thousand a year. Its alot fool. My mom paid 40 years died after 2 years of benefits . Were is it you youth feel entitled to our SS fund money . Its not taxes asswipe its benefits we paid for . Just pay us back the 7 trillion ya stole from our fund cry baby . pay up or shut up fool. Ya do know that many of the people your talking about only had one income earner do ya not. Women use to take care of child raising and dinner . and cleaning and washing and much much more.

So your talking many old folks living on less than 1000 a month . and you think thats enough.

here how it works . When ya retire your home is paid for and most all your possessions are paid for . Ya retire and draw your benefits . If your not a saver your screwed if one or the other has to go to retirement home because our kids are ass wipes . The retirement home takes your social secruity to pay there cost if you can't pay they take your life earnings and sell off your properties that they keep . That how it works FOOL

My grandson owns everthing we have and we show a monthly payment that he pays us in form of a check. Its proof of payment . I of course give him cash and his mom and dad give it right back in the form of a check . That how you screw these assholes.

Thats why I sold off stocks and bought gold . we nolonger have paper money only that which is locked in retirement. That well never ever see. But I not worried I been buying gold for years but now I am almost 100% gold . No one will take that from my family ever . I am the only one who knows were its at . I have it setup so if I die my wife gets letter from me telling her . If wife not around than Grandson gets.

For others near age 60 . Borrow the maxium ya can from your retirement fund every dime your allowed. Make the payments as your paying yourself back with interest . Buy GOLD . Its ssomething ya can't lose. If ya can pay it back soon enough do it ! more time LOL. You will end up with something anyway not complete loss.

You can absolutely lose out on gold. Some think it's going now to $2k or 3k, others think it's severely over priced.

As always, if you absolutely need this money to live on you need to protect from as many angles as possible and if you're 100% gold you are only protecting from severe inflation. What if that doesn't happen? What if gold drops in value a great deal? You need to hedge. And before you think "Well I know it's not going to drop" that is based on faith. Remember, you were wrong for many years about what was going on (it's ok, most people don't know exactly what's going on with markets), so you ought not to have total confidence that you know now what's going on. Hence the need to hedge.

First, it's hard to believe you're more than 12 or so, but I'll play along. Second, SS payments ARE a TAX, and there's even a Supreme Court case laying that out, so you're clearly uninformed. Furthermore, most seniors "paid into the system" a mere pittance, and are collecting via SS and Medicare far more than they ever paid (even including interest), so don't give me that bull. Today's seniors are just plain robbing the treasury at rates far in excess of what they contributed, and it's going to be very empty when today's youth seek their own benefits. And tough luck about your mother - my father worked 30+ years and died the year he retired, so he never collected a single dime of SS or Medicare. That's just the breaks.

Oh really . NO SS is not a tax . Its the X generation thats trying to make it a tax . In that way the 7 trillian stolen from our trust fund doesn't have to be repayed . Look at the world now . How much do you believe I paid into SS since 1991 that only 16 years 1/2 the years I paid in . Its alot of money . I know my life earnings and were ever ss dollor paid in by me . I am one who will get almost 2x what I paid in . Thats not luck its miss fortune . To go fron 75 grand a year to 14 grand is a hugh blow. At my age is pure bad luck. But it also allows me to do what scripture commands of us if the devil is picking your pocket . Your required if able to steal back 2x what they stole from ya . Its a REQUIRMENT that a few MUST meet.
