I just put in a 250 gig hard drive, installed win xp and noticed that it only detected about..130 gig during drive partition. I know the limit of xp is that size without service pack 1. Installed window and put in service pack 1. Now when i go to disk management I see that extra 100 sumthing gig that wasnt there before, but how can I make that unpartition space to join up so i can have one whole drive? I don't want another partition, I just want the full capacity on 1 drive letter.

Thanks!

Partition Magic can do it.
Also, try slipstreaming the Service Pack into a Windows XP install disc (search the forum or Google for how-to articles/help) and see if that works. Of course this would require you to reinstall Windows to test.
