Hmm, loss-leader at CrapUSA.......

Anybody know the pertinent details?

It is Memorex!!. Good brand. good deal.

Or you can order 100 Memorex 4X DVD+Rs for $59.98 + Tax (Free Shipping) from Office Depot, after a Buy1Get1Free coupon and $20 off $75 coupon.

That's $0.60/disc for 4X media at Office Depot vs. $0.80/disc for 2.4X media at CompUSSR.

Note that people either get Ricohs or CMCs when buying Memorex media.
Also note that there are many drives that will burn both Ricoh and CMC 4X media at 8X.

This may be slightly more but they are +RW.... well worth the extra money IMO if it prevents a couple coasters and I can re-use them.

Anyone know if Staples, OM, or OD carry these? CompUSA is 30 miles from me.

You're neglecting a key point. +R versus +RW. $20 for a 25 pack of +RW isn't bad at all. Although I recently picked up the 4X memorex +RW for $10 AR at OM due to rain check madness.

As for 4X +Rs. I wouldn't pay anything for those anymore with the FAR deals that have happened in the past. I got a HP 25 pack of 4X +Rs FAR about a month back at OM.

Those 2.4X Memorex spindles are pretty good. I've burned 2 25 spindles and I've had 1 bad disk per spindle.

While I generally like to archive DVDs on either -R or +R media. It is nice to have some +RW available for data backup and also for backing up DVDs that I don't necessarily want to keep in my collection. With RW format, +RW definitely has some advantages over -RW. With straight DVD copying, I think -R is slightly better.

Still had some an hour before closing in SoCal.

Anyone checked these for mfg?

This is the cheapest RW deal I've come across. Last week OM had a 10pk of RW's in jewel cases for the SAME price.

Puppyfriend must be doing something right at OM... Those HP's were a sub for the Khypermedia 25pk R+'s for $9.99 (my raincheck store still hasn't been restocked) and the Memorex RW's I thought were $19.99 for 10pk..

Seems the +RW are either Rioch, Infodisc, or CMC.

Oddly enough Rioch are the only ones rated poorly while the others rate well.

I got 2 but I'm going to return one of them as I don't need 40 RWs. I can send the extra pack it to someone for the cost +USPS shipping (paypal only). Just PM me.

edit: Someone just claimed my 2nd 25 pack and there are 3 more people in line so no more pms please.
