OK, so I just saw this on Woot Deals. A lot of people are saying it's fake (I mean, look at the expiration date), a few others are saying it worked for them though, no one seems to know for sure. Huge YMMV. Oh, and Portal 2 is $39.99 at Best Buy this week, so paired with this it'd be $14.99 + tax.

I doubt Valve has released physical coupons of this nature before, and as such I don't think you'd have all the needed (correct) info to fake a coupon. While this one may scan, I think it'd be pretty easy to tell as a fake to anyone who knows what to look at.

Though you could probably still pull one over on some cashiers, I definitely would not recommend it. Bad juju.

Well, the fact that it expires on a non-existent day should be the first clue that it's fake. I don't buy that this worked for ANYONE unless you took it to some mom & pop store that doesn't even scan things.
