Seems FW forums are killin AT in terms of keeping up with deals lately.

A word of caution about Amazon rebates. I'm still waiting for the amazon rebates from about 3 months ago on the CD/DVD Creator 6 and NIS combo. I received the manufacture rebates a couple weeks ago, but the Amazon rebates are EXTREMELY slow. I know they are being processed cause I called.

The Anandtech post has a good link right to the sale, which the FW post needs.
So Anandtech has the high quality post! Who was online at 4 am when the deal hit FW.

PowerPDF is also on the list and is also from Xelerate software. I was looking at it too. There are downloadable limited-function trial versions on Xelerate's website

FAR norton/McAffe/BlackIce are great for future "competitive upgrade" rebates. NPF is crap but you regularly see offers for some money off Zone Alarm Pro if you own Norton or BlackIce

A word of praise about Amazon rebates: I have found them to be incredible reliable and prompt. I've submitted more than a dozen, and have never had a problem.

No more DarkBASIC for a couple of days. :( It changed from "usually ships in 24 hours" to "1-2 days" while it was in my cart earlier.

Does anyone have the rebate coupon for Monopoly Tycoon?

I purchased this earlier but did not dl the rebate coupon(stupid of me)

The item (and the rebate link) are no longer available at amazon... It's still available at j&R but no FAR ;-( ...

i was!
oh, but i don't care about most of these. it's not like they're valuable software to me (well, the pdf thing was nice. too much money. just use distiller on my roommate's computer)
