24x CDRW only being read as 4x? Whats up with that?

I am using several programs; Fireburner, (which says 4x!) and CDRWin (which says 12x). Why is my AOPEN 24x CDRW being read as 4x and 12x?

Make sure these programs support this drive. Also, update the drivers and firmware for it if necessary.
