I know by default, it is set to 350MB for win 8/10 and it was 100MB for Vista (maybe 7 as well), I suppose you could try 100MB. We are only talking of 250MB difference, that is nothing these days. 🙂
I think they stick in the windows recovery environment there as well, which is why it needs more space.

Do those laptops have TPM?
