Note the usage of "up to" in their description. That's why I stick with major brands for my flash drives.

That doesn't mean anything either. I bought a major brand high performance USB3 flash drive with advertised write speeds of 170MB/s and I can only get 100MB/s out of it. I'm currently dealing with their RMA team because I am not happy with it.

OP - Are you on Win8 or 10? Win7 doesn't support UASP and still uses BOT which is much slower. Win8 and 10 has support for UASP. Also ensure your USB3 drivers are up to date.

If you haven't, try the back ports direct attached to the mobo, rather than cabled front panel ports.
