2407 should be announced soon, right?

If I remember correctly, the 2405 was announced on March 3rd of 2005. So we are approaching it's anniversary FAST! Maybe we will see the 2407 by the end of the week!? It sure has been a long enough wait already. And I am praying....and PRAYING that they fix the horrible lag issue everyone has been complaining about the 2405. It sounds intolerable.

I do not know what this so called lag is with the 2405 (i do not notice it), but if the 2407 doesn't announce on the 3rd, maybe at Cebit.

At least it came out on the Dell UK site. Was on the Japan site forever. It's getting close =)

I have got one in Australia (staring at my replacement one now) and it has the same banding problems as the 2007fp and 2007wfp, search for the banding thread for more info.

It will probably be released in the US when the current problem is fixed ie. revision A01. I have a revision A00 at the moment, otherwise it would just mean more returns from frustrated users.

Just got an email from my Dell rep, 2407 starts shipping today. 🙂
