2405fpw space requirements?

OK i am wondering how much open space is required for the sides and top of the LCD.

I have noticed that the top of the LCD gets hot to the touch but not failing during monitor use.

I have about 4" of space on the sides and about 2 inches on the top.

any body have any idea, i tried looking on Dells website about it but it doesn't list any information about it but it does say its operating normal temp can get up to 95F so maybe i am being paranoid.
