This seems to be a great monitor for the money. I looked carefully at the spec page but could find no mention of certain issues and if someone could clear them up for me.

Can these monitors swivel and be used in portrait mode?
Is this specific to a certain subset of videocards?
Can I use these monitors in portrait mode in a dual monitor combination?
WHat video card(s) would you recommend to drive a pair of them?
(I only have 1 AGP slot)

Lastly is it worth investigating a dual-dvi card or just getting a pair of video cards.

Yes to all of your questions except the dual video card one. Just find a dual DVI AGP card. There are some out there for around 100 I think. I'd go with an ATI card if you can as they are known for putting out better signal on DVI at such high resolutions.
