I'm having a weird problem with my 2405fp. I love everything about it except for one thing. I tried playing a DVD with my Xbox on it the other night, and I ran into issues. The DVD menu displayed fine, but when i started to play the movie, the screen got fuzzy then went blank.. I could only hear the audio. The problem really didn't make sense to me, because the DVD & xbox menus are in 480i, and they displayed fine, which seems to indicate that my monitor can display 480i just fine. But does anyone have have any idea why the actual movie won't show up on the screen??
The xbox is connected to the monitor using the "official" Microsoft component (RGB) video adapter. In the Xbox video menus, 480p, 720p, and 1080i are all enabled, and the video output is set to widescreen. Audio is thru the optical output. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
