2405 vs Gateway 21"?

Other than obvious size and resolution differences, how do the two compare? Does the Gateway suffer from lag? Has anyone seen both of these monitor in person to compare?
 
I have seen both of these monitors in person, but have only tested out the 2405 as I have one.

I would imagine the 2405 would eat the Gateway alive just by pure speculation, which of course means nothing coming from me 🙂
 

I've only seen the Gateway 21", haven't touched a Dell 2405. I really like my Gateway, and I don't get any ghosting or tearing with it. Don't have any idea how it stacks up with the 2405.
 
That's a rather unfair comparison 😛

The Gateway i use at work quite a bit; it's a gorgeous monitor, & very well priced for what you get.
I've never noticed any response time issues.

The Gateway also has HDCP, which makes it a lot more futureproof that the Dell.
 
I've wanted to buy the Gateway, but have been holding out for the 2407, only because I could watch HDTV at full resolution on it. But if the 2407 has lag, then I would prefer the Gateway. I heard LG panels suffer from lag like the Samsung ones do. Does anyone know what panel the Gateway uses?
