So I bought these HyperX Beast 8GB 2400Mhz DDR3 Ram but CPU-Z says that the frequency is 660Mhz. How do I utilize the 2400Mhz frequency. My motherboard is MSI gaming 5. Sorry I'm new to all this so pardon me :L
I need it to be 2400Mhz because I'm currently using Integrated graphics.

Try choose XMP profile in your BIOS for memory.

667Mhz means its running at 1333Mhz. Double data rate.

I have the msi gaming 5. Go into your bios, select oc settings, DRAM frequency, and then select DDR3-2400MHz. That will give you the proper speeds. I had to do this for my g.skill hyperx.

Then select settings, save & exit, save changes and reboot.

666 = 1333. You double the clock rate because DDR.

Go into your BIOS and manually set the RAM frequency to 2400mhz, and adjust voltages and timings accoring to their XMP spec.

my XMP includes the voltage timings. not making a point, just saying
