You guys think they will ever make a 24 season not in California? Not every damn terrorist attack can happen in Cali.

They film it in California because of the weather.
It shouldn't change much, since one season is just 24 hours.

It takes about 8 months to shoot a Season, and they need environmental consistency. (From the director of 24.)

I agree... the show is HIGHLY addictive... although after watching seasons 1, 2 & 3 on DVD... and now watching season 4 on tv... its MUCH better on DVD... its a pain in the a$$ when an episode ends and you cannot watch the next one and have to wait a whole week!
