I have 2 and both were just great. I know some have had problems but mine were good ones. One is 9-07 and one is 10-07 builds. For the price they cannot be beat!

I bought 2, opened 1, tested it and I lost 3 entire rows of pixels within 5 minutes (different spots and didn't lose them all simultaneously, but once they were lost... they were lost). I took both back. This could be an isolated incident, but this is one of the rare times I would recommend an extended warranty.

As long as you have a system that can power the 1920x1200 native res, you are good to go. Company of Heroes at 1920x1200 is a sight to behold!

Another happy Soyo owner here, I got a good one on the first try back in mid November. The image quality is outstanding and I have had zero issues so far. It is a least as good or better than My Dell 2405 that I paid about $800 for. It has fewer features than the Dell, but the most important ones - size and image quality are there.

Well, OP's link is for Florida, but the price is the same here in Texas. So, unless Regional is very broad (ie, Southern states), it looks like your area may be one of a few that doesn't have this model.

Chuckee, salescircular.com says it is on sale in Tennessee. Discussion about the quality of the Hot Deal item is very important to the Hot Deal forum, in that it would not be a hot deal if the item is totally a piece of junk. It is particularly important to hear both good and bad comments about this Soyo monitor because many bad comments have been made about it. I commented on my experience so that others can use that information as they wish. Finally, commenting on this computer monitor in the AV forum would do little to help someone looking for a computer monitor and not a TV set.

I've had one since the very first time around, & it's been mostly great... Up until this week.

Twice in the last week half the display has stopped responding. Like exactly half, right down the middle - Left half keeps displaying what it's supposed to, right half goes nuts & repeats one single row of pixels all the way down the screen. Even the OSD gets chopped which tells me it's not a PC/DVI cable issue.

Still a gorgeous display for $300 but I have to admit I'm worrying a little about mine.

Granada HIlls, CA store had 3 in-store and got one of them. 14 day return with no restocking fees as promised by manager. I will test drive this 24" Soyo to see how it does in the next 2 weeks.

btw: used a $30off$150 card to make it even sweeter.. :)

I'll check my build date (BF purchase) but I have been running it since Thanksgiving without any issues. I just need a better card than my eVGA 6600 to run it a little smoother.

I've got two of them still going strong. One bought the beginning of September, one bought at the end of the same month. Not a single issue with either of them so far.

I have been running mine for about 6 hours and so far smooth sailing. Not a single bad pixel and my built date according to the box is 11/21/2007

Not sure what the build date is on mine but I picked up two on Black Friday and both are fantastic, no dead pixels, buzzing, excessive heat or other abnormalities. Crisis and UT3 look fantastic (or as fantastic as they can on my 7900GT). Also confirmed this price for NM.
