Customer reviews all look favorable. I wouldn't always worry about brand, remember the $300 24"er that had an... MVA? panel was Soyo (another brand I've never heard of). the 8 bit panel would make me jump.

Doublesight seems to have, until now, specialized in dual-displays. Now, they are going mainstream with a 24-inch model.

They have been around since 2003. See this review:

Doublesight Displays LLC is a company that was founded in 2003, and is located in Seoul South Korea, affiliated with Erae Electronics. Erae Electronics is the third largest display manufacturer in the world after LG and Samsung

And what about Erae Electronics?

Looks credible

I looked at this one too, it uses the 8-bit panel of the 245T, 2407, some NECs and Eizos... It seems a nice deal to me and would certainly prefer it to Soyo, Westinghouse, KDS etc ... I say get it and make a review :)

after reading about this display on hardforums and found it has the same samsung panel that many monitors used, s-pva, i bit the bullet and ordered it from newegg the other day. i dont want TN as while i am an amateur photog that doesnt need a $1500 s-ips panel monitor, i want better colors than TN and non 8-bit panels can give me - while getting the screen real estate to have two windows side by side.

will give first impressions in 2 weeks or so as it is staying in the box until i move in 10 days, most likely.
