The pin that is listed in the manual as the 20th pin isn't there! That is, the contact is not in the plastic housing. But the manual suggests that this is okay. Somebody, help! I need answers immediately! Is this normal! Posted in general hardware, so far no response. First time buil, please help!

slash196, I just ordered that power supply today. Should arrive in a couple of days, so I can't help you yet. I hope someone else will. You may also want to try posting your question at

One of the moderators there, Angry_Games, has that PSU and could help.

I also have the DFI NF4 Ultra-D in hand, but no case yet. Someone else posted that they had a difficult time mounting that mobo in the Cooler Master Centurion 5...apparently something bumped up against the 120 rear fan. Have you mounted the mobo in the Cavalier yet? Any problems? I know the Cav and the Centurion are similar inside, so I was just wondering if there were any problems, as those cases are on my list of possibilities.

If you are numbering the pin correctly then that is the -5V line. It is within the current ATX spec to drop the -5V line. Pretty soon, no PSU will have the negative voltages any more. They aren't used by anything, but are fun to play with for fan power, etc.
. I think the Delta PSU I've had for over a year lacks both -5 and -12.

Thanks zepper, I guessed that myself. Since it's not mentioned in the manual, I'm not worried. Just nice to have some confirmation. Thanks, people.
