My asus p8h67 M motherboard manual says dont forget to connect 4 pin/8pin ATX +12V power plug.

I got the Logisys CS206BK case. Not sure if it has that plug. I can find the 24 pin plug and the rest 4 are the cd rom power plug type.

What is the this plug manual talks about, is it required ?

if your psu does not natively have a an 8pin, its either an old psu, or a very low quality one.

You can use an adapter, however something like a EPS 8 pin, is standard now in all psu's, so it might be in your best interest to get a psu upgrade over the current one ur using.

OR you can just plug it in half of the 8pin socket where its not covred.

u should see a spot which has 4/8 pins covered by a tab.
Plug your 4pin in the uncoverd area.

All PSU's have a 4 pin... its yellow and black only... looks like a square.

See if there is a model number and name on your PSU. If it is a no name cheepie that came with a case bundle, you may want to STRONGLY consider buying a reputable PSU to lessen the chances of catastrophic PSU failure killing your components.
