24 or Alias??

like the topic summary asks.....which one do you like more? 24 or Alias? and why! and pls do not give away any plots , just discuss the atmosphere of it and perhaps the storylines , character development, directing, realism, etc.

i personally haven't watched alias yet and want to know how good it is compared to 24 (a very big fan of 24) so if i get good heads up on alias i will start watching Alias.

Yeah...I've seen a few episodes of Alias. It's good, but it doesnt keep you intrigued like 24 does. It's hard to stop watchin 24...

Alias is so ridiculous I can barely watch it anymore. I used to enjoy the campiness, but it's running thin.

24 is gripping, but at times goes over board with the soap opera. On the whole, it's a lot more watchable than Alias.

I don't think either of them have any replay value for me, though. I wouldn't watch them a second time.

If you're thinking about Alias because it's somehow similar to 24, be warned that it's nothing like 24. It's kind of a campy super-duper secret agent show, action mixed with a lot of excuses for Jennifer Garner to wear wigs and tight costumes. The worst part is that the main plot line running through the series is basically a McGuffin to keep the story moving. The whole "Rambaldi" thing seems like a video game storyline (like Tomb Raider's "Cradle of Life").

'24', because Alias has insane plot twists and backstories that are impossible to follow. I still haven't figured out who Sidney's real dad is, who her real mom is, who her real boyfriend is, or how she ended up at the CIA (or whatever intelligence outfit she's in).

Neither.. Nip/Tuck is the best. If you have basic cable, watch it on FX.

Alias is freaky awesome; Jennifer Garner is freaky hot.

Alias actually requires some manner of attention span from week-to-week to understand the subtleties.

Watch it for 5 weeks straight, and you'll be insanely hooked.

I tried 24 for the entire first season - nothing special.

My vote goes to Alias. My girlfriend got me into watching it. I've seen the past 6 episodes and I am hooked !

I personally think la Femme Nikita is better than either 24 or alias
