Didn't Wayne kill someone one year and tried to cover it up?

Peter MacNicol? I bet you anything he'll be the "character we all hate" in season 6, aka Walt Cummings or Miles.

Isn't the speaker of the house supposed to be next in line after the VP? I thought Wayne was just an advisor.

someone on dvdtalk posted something interesting. this season takes place 9 years after the events in season 1, putting jack to almost about 50 years old now. so dont be surprised if he's chasing a terrorist, slips, falls, breaks his hip and spends the rest of the season using a walker with the tennis balls on the bottom as to not scuff up the floors at ctu. ;)

My girlfriend totally loves Eddie Izzard, so maybe I can finally get her addicted to the Jack Bauer Power Hour. I really can't see Eddie Izzard as a bad guy - maybe a non-executive transvestite wearing awful flats with pleated slacks, but I just can't see him as a terrorist.
