24 is impossible

3, 8, 3, 8.
you can use +-*/ anyway you want.
but each number can only be use once, and all the number must be use.
how do you make resoult of 24?
my friend told me it's doable, but i just can't figure it out
anybody smart in math, wanna help me out?
