24 inch gaming monitor

I'm looking for a 24 inch gaming monitor for my brother in law who is 15. I've only ever purchased high end IPS panels so I can't really help him. What can you get for $100? $150? $200? He needs 1920-1xx0 resolution.
 
I use the Asus vg248qe monitor and really like it. I actually use 3 of them in surround. They are good for gaming because of the 144hz. Very smooth feel to it even when on the desktop. They are 24in 1080p, and have a 144hz, 1 ms response time. you can read other reviews on them on newegg or amazon. They are usually priced in the $270 range.

Also, I am selling them because I don't play many games anymore and just want a bigger display. If you are interested in buying them from I can make you a deal on all 3 or just one. Otherwise good luck with finding a display.
